Good bye paper! Hello user convenience

Context:

Schaerbeek, one of the 19 communes of the Brussels Region, inherited a permit procedure from the local policé authority. This procedure was still based on physical interaction and plenty of paper, making it cumbersome and lengthy to handle, both for the client as for the public authority.

Task:

Mapping the current procedure (AS-IS), interviewing all the stakeholders to better understand their needs and studying the legal framework in which the procedure takes place to propose several scenarios of the future procedure to come (TO-BE) including its technological architecture.

Solution:

Based on the retained scenario, a public market consultation was launched to identify the vendor. In close cooperation with the vendor and the customer the solution was implemented. A particular attention was given to the onboarding of the new users, both internal and external to guarantee a smooth transition.

Client experience:
“Jedi supported the process simplification efforts by conducting a realistic analysis of the various situations to be managed, which enabled the implementation of effective solutions in line with the complexity of the project and the deadlines.

Jedi's detailed preparation of the SLSE project enabled faster and more concrete progress to be made in six months of project management with the new team.”
